Man Seriously Injured After Truck Rolls Over Him in Fruitland Park

A 58-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday when a vehicle he was working under rolled on top of him in Fruitland Park.

The incident occurred about 12:30 p.m. on Irwin Way and Duncan Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was performing vehicle maintenance on a 2004 Ford F-150 when the pickup truck rolled backward and ran over him.

The man was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
